GDB&R Receives Elite Industry Award

BEAVERCREEK, Ohio- Greater Dayton Building & Remodeling (GDB&R) was awarded a 2015 National Contractor of the Year (CotY) Award from the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) on April 17 at the NARI “Evening of Excellence” reception in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

GDB&R received an award in the Commercial Specialty category based on their work done for the White-Allen European Auto Dealership in Dayton, Ohio. “In the acceptance of such an honorable award, we would like to acknowledge our employees, vendors, and trade partners for without their efforts, we wouldn’t have received this award,” said Dan Brower, of GDB&R. “Thank you to NARI for this special recognition and thank you to the individuals that helped make the project possible.”

Contractors from seven regions nationwide vie for the awards on an annual basis. All projects submitted for judging were an improvement or an addition to an existing structure, with the exception of one category, “Residential Exterior Specialty.” Otherwise, new construction projects were not eligible.

To be considered for a CotY Award, companies must create an online project submission including detailed “before and after” photography and project descriptions. Consideration for the award focuses on problem solving, functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation and degree of difficulty.

Greater Dayton Building & Remodeling has served homeowners in Dayton and the surrounding areas for nearly 30 years. Recognized as the region’s largest premiere building and home remodeling contractor, GDB&R has completed more than 25,000 unique projects and has set the benchmark in the Dayton market with award-winning designs, quality craftsmanship, and a company-wide commitment to complete customer satisfaction.
